After months of toil, Round 4 of our Page Builder update is finally ready.

Why did it take so long?

Because a lot has changed.

In fact, there are so many improvements that it would be impossible to cover everything in one blog post.

What I can say is this:

The new Page Builder is more intuitive, more powerful, and much easier to use.

Today, I’ll highlight some of the most important changes.

1) A Simpler Way To Edit Text

Text editing is now much more intuitive.

Previously, you had to double-click text or click the ‘Edit Text’ button to start editing it. That may sound like a small thing, but when you are constantly switching between moving, editing and resizing elements, every extra step adds friction.

Now, simply click the text to edit it.

You can also initiate the text editor by mousing over the Element Editor, which is convenient when you simply want to bold the entire text.

Because of this change, if you have the habit of clicking an element before dragging it, you will need to unlearn that habit.

But that’s actually a good thing, because that’s one less click every time you move an element!

The basic controls are now very straightforward:

• Move an element: Mousedown and drag.
• Move an element using the keyboard: Mousedown on the element, then use the direction keys.
• Resize an element: Mouse over the element and drag the resize handle.
• Edit text: Simply click the text. No more double-clicking.
• Cancel text editing: Click anywhere outside the element.

Once you get used to it, designing will be much faster.

Below is a demonstration of how the new operation works.

2) Copy And Paste Image Upload

Nowadays, many of us use AI tools to generate images.

Previously, the workflow usually looked like this:

Generate the image → save it to your computer → open the Page Builder → upload the image.

That extra saving and uploading is no longer necessary.

Now, you can simply copy the image and paste it directly into the Page Builder.

That’s it.

This is especially useful when working with AI-generated images, screenshots, graphics or anything else that is already on your clipboard.

It can’t get much simpler than that.

Note: The demo above uses the right-click Copy and Paste options for visual clarity. You can also use Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V on Windows or Command+C / Command+V on Mac.

3) New Rotation Handle

Rotating an element is now much easier.

A dedicated rotation handle has been added directly to elements, allowing you to rotate them visually instead of having to adjust rotation settings manually.

Just grab the handle and rotate.

4) Introducing The Spacer

This is one of those tools that makes you wonder why it didn’t exist sooner.

Previously, imagine that you had already completed most of your design and suddenly decided:

“I want to add something here.”

If there wasn’t enough space, you would have to group all the elements below and move them down.

That is history.

We have added a new tool called Spacer.

The Spacer is basically a movable horizontal bar.

Simply place it above the elements you want to move, then drag the Spacer up or down.

Everything below it moves together.

This makes it extremely easy to:

• Create space for a new element.
• Increase the space between elements.
• Reduce excessive empty space.
• Shift a large portion of your design up or down without manually selecting everything.

It is a very simple tool, but once you start using it, you may wonder how you ever designed without it.

5) Independent Border Thickness

You can now control the thickness of each border independently using the following editor:

For example, instead of having the same border on all four sides, you can make the left border thicker to create an accent box like this:

This opens up many more design possibilities for callout boxes, testimonials, quotes, notices, feature sections and other highlighted content.

6) Update Thumbnail On Demand

Previously, LeadsLeap automatically regenerated the page thumbnail whenever necessary.

The problem is that thumbnail generation is a relatively slow process, and most of the time you don’t actually need a new thumbnail every time you make a change.

So we changed the way it works.

Now, you decide when the thumbnail should be updated.

For normal editing, just click Save.

When you want to regenerate the thumbnail, mouse over the Save button and choose:

Save & Update Thumbnail

This means normal saving can remain fast, while you still have full control over when the latest page preview is generated.

7) Copy And Paste Colors And Gradients

When designing a page, the same colors are often reused across multiple elements.

Previously, you had to open the color picker repeatedly and recreate the same color or gradient.

Now, you can simply copy a color or gradient once and paste it onto another element.

This is especially useful when you want to change the color scheme of your page design.

Simply decide on a color or gradient, then copy and paste it onto other elements.

Small improvement. Big time saver.

8) Preset Box Styles

Not everyone wants to start styling every box from scratch.

That’s why we added Preset Box Styles.

With one click, you can instantly apply a ready-made combination of background, border, radius, shadow and other styling to an element.

The preset may not be your final design.

Think of it as a starting point.

Choose a style that is close to what you want, then customize it from there.

It is much faster than starting with a completely blank box every time, and it can also give you ideas for styling that you might not have considered.

9) Mouse Highlight For Video Demonstrations

If you create tutorials, walkthroughs or video demonstrations, this one is for you.

You can now activate Mouse Highlight inside the Page Builder.

When enabled, your mouse clicks are visually highlighted, making it much easier for viewers to follow what you are clicking during a screen recording.

There is no need to install additional software just to make your clicks more visible.

Activate Mouse Highlight and start recording.

10) A Completely New Set Of Page Templates

Last but not least, we have finally replaced the old Page Templates with a completely new collection.

These are not merely prettier templates.

They have been designed to showcase what the new Page Builder is capable of doing.

You will find modern layouts for different purposes, including opt-in pages, thank-you pages, sales pages, review pages, download pages and more.

They are also useful as learning examples.

Open a template, examine how it was built, modify it, or simply use it as the starting point for your next page.

This Is More Than A Cosmetic Update

The goal of this upgrade was never simply to make the Page Builder look newer.

The goal was to remove friction.

Fewer unnecessary clicks.

Less repetitive work.

Faster editing.

More design flexibility.

And tools that help you build what you have in mind without having to fight with the editor.

There are many other improvements that I haven’t mentioned here, and you will probably discover some of them naturally as you use the new Page Builder.
