Page Update – Auto Image Checker

As we review Pages that are built using LL Page Builder, we notice that there are Pages with missing images.

Images can be deleted due to different reasons, especially if you’ve built Pages using other people’s images, which you have no control over.

Often, the members who built the Pages are not aware of it and they continue to promote the Pages.

I understand that it is not practical to regularly check every Page you’ve built.

So we add an automatic image checker to our Page system.

How Automatic Image Checker Works?

When your page is visited, if an image on the page fails to load, the system will send a notice to your Page Manager.

The notice looks like this:

Next to the image URL is a small thumbnail of the image (see arrow 1).

If the image indeed does not exist, you will see something similar to the icon above, depending on what browser you use. If so, click ‘Launch Editor’ and change the image.

If you can see the thumbnail image, it means the image exist and the alert is a false alarm. If so, just close the alert.

We are still testing this function. Let me know if you receive too many false alarms. (Keeping my fingers crossed.)

  1. Nice feature! Also, the alerts show up at the top of the Page Manager so you don’t have to scroll through your pages to find them!

  2. Great idea and a useful new feature.

If getting too many false alarms does become an issue, then I would suggest only triggering the alert after there has been several failures over something like a 24 hour period. If an image is still not loading correctly after 24 hours, then it is more likely a permanent problem rather than a server blip or temporarily unavailable etc.

    1. That will require the system to keep a database of all errors. But thanks for the suggestion. We will see how it goes.

    2. Thanks for the update. I’m excited about this opportunity and ready to learn everything that’s coming my way.Its great to know the pros and cons of this business. Now lets get to work.

  3. This is a very helpful feature. Thank you so much for constantly finding new ways to make this great system even better.

    1. Yes I agree and it’s good you don’t have to go through the situations of trying to get through the process.

  4. I would like to upgrade to be able to use that tool but what’s the price? I think it would come in handy especially because I don’t have much experience. I think it’s gonna be an awesome tool to use.

  5. It seems like a good idea but so far I have been getting way too many error messages each time I go to my page manager. 4-6 pages each time. Each site I check, all the images load correctly. It’s a bit time consuming to keep checking and some of these images are from your gallery which I am assuming you don’t delete so there should be no issue with them.

  6. Actually, my own portrait photo was deleted from at least one of my pages after seeing the pink message alert and checking my last saved page design for the past 24 hours. I’m thinking there must have been a recent system update or a change that caused this because the image used to appear fine ever since I joined LL.

  7. As per internet marketing your site is paradise! You know I go a lot around the web and

not eye-closed. Now I perfectly recognize wherever there is your hand. Perfect!

The fact is that I have nostalgia of a house, it’s a few years I’m homeless and I have always

    had a site – for a period 2 – I NEED A HOUSE but since I like all what you’re doing around I

was curious to have a look at your house: You know how I admire you. Thanks for being the

right and wise example. Anna Loredana

  8. I’ve never had that problem or I haven’t noticed it. But it’s nice that this feature is now available just in case. LeadsLeap just keeps getting better and better!
