Private domain for tracker and page links

We’ve just added a new option call ‘Private Domain‘ to your tracker and page manager.

The Private Domain option allows you to show your track links, rotators and page in your own domain name.

What does that mean?

It means, instead of

http://llclickpro.com/best-offer/

Your track link will now look like this:

http://yourdomain.com/recommends/?best-offer/

Same goes for your page.

What Do I Need?

You need 2 things before you can set up a private domain.

  1. You need your own domain name. (An old one will do, no need to buy a new one).
  2. You need a hosting server that hosts the domain.

Remember, there is no need to buy a new domain. Any domain will do.

You just have to create a new folder in the domain for this purpose.

Your private domain link will look like this:

https://yourdomain.com/subdirectory/?cmad45hd

subdirectory‘ is the new folder that you’ll create in your server.

If you plan to set up Private Domain for both your tracker and page, you’ll need to create 2 new folders. One for tracker (which can be used for both track link and rotator) and one for page.

How To Set Up a Private Domain?

To set up a private domain for your track link, go to the Track Links Manager.

To set up a private domain for your page, go to the Page Manager.

In the set up form, you will see a new option called ‘Private Domain‘.

I’m not going into the details of the set up process because it is a little technical.

Besides the set up form, you also have to create a new folder in your server and upload a file.

We have prepared a detailed step-by-step tutorial that you can follow.

If you want to set up a private domain, click Tutorial (arrow 1), enter private (arrow 2) to quickly find the tutorial, click on the tutorial link (arrow 3) and follow the instructions.

Be sure to read the tutorial if you want to use Private Domain function.

      1. Ouch! How can I overlook this! It’s fixed. Can you download the index.php file again and upload to your server? It should work now.

        Thanks for the heads up.

    1. Yes. But before you do that, think if it is necessary. Only you can have the answer. Technically it’s a yes.

  1. Amazing feature but I tried to download file index.php to upload to my server nothing happens please feedback and thanks

  2. I was actually looking for this feature, i can finally get a domain, are there any domain companies you recommend which would work great with the instructions?

    1. You need 2 things. A domain and a hosting server. For the ease of management, it’s better to get both from the same company. Try hostgator or bluehost. These are the cheaper hosting with good support.

  3. I continue to be amazed at the massive value you get with a LeadsLeap Pro account. I wish I would have discovered it years ago! Great work!

  4. Hello, so I’m back with another study of people sending false clicks and saying that they will send 100 clicks via solo ads and when I go to check in the real tracker, only receive 2 clicks.

If you are not tracking your link, you probably wasting money and time.

  5. BTW Great feature. Love It.

    Quick Question:

I followed your tutorial – and it worked fine.

    I uploaded the index.php file once to this server/folder = incomebump.com/page/

Now this works for every page. GREAT.

But What if I want to use more than one domain name?

Can I upload the same index file to another domain folder?

Basically I want to use some pages on different domains and others on another.

I may want to use 30 different domains – for different products or niches…

    is it possible?

    domain1.com/page/?slug1

    domain2.com/page/?slug1

    domain3.com/page/?slug2

    1. Can I upload the same index file to another domain folder?
      – Yes. The index.php file for Page is the same file, wherever you download it. Just make sure you do not mix it up with the index.php file downloaded from the tracker, because that file is specific for tracker only.

I may want to use 30 different domains – for different products or niches… is it possible?
      – It is possible. Question is, is it necessary? Is it manageable? Only you can answer those questions. Technically it can be done.

      domain1.com/page/?slug1
      domain2.com/page/?slug1
      – Note that if you have a slug1 that appears on two different domains, both domains are showing the same Page Campaign. Slug is Page Campaign specific.

      1. Ok. Thank you. understood.

        I won’t be using 30 domains :)

but a few – health niche domain, make money domain, pets domain – etc…. just looks a bit more professional.

Already have several domains with hosting – just need to add sub directory and upload index file

so no trouble in any way to use multiple domains for me.

        1. Or just register a domain name yourname.com and then for subdirectory, use something like recommends. So your link will look like

          yourname.com/recommends/?slug

That will be general enough for all purposes.

Or if you don’t want to use your name, you can register something like my-best-recommendation.com.

  6. Does anybody have a video tutorial on how to connect the private domain to my lead pages? I’m visual and having a hard time understanding exactly what to do here..

    1. The tutorial has detailed screenshots to lead you step by step. Having said that, as private domain involves the setting on your server, the interface may be different. If what you see is different from the screenshot, please open a support ticket. We will help you.
