My experience with the tool so far

For the uninitiated, videogen.io is a platform that allows users to create videos using a predefined script or using the one generated by the platform.

I have been utilizing Videogen.io for a couple of weeks now, and I should say that it has exceeded my expectations.

This online video creation tool has made it incredibly simple for me to create stunning videos for the offers I am promoting.

What I Like

UI & Features: One of the things I love about Videogen.io is its user-friendly interface. Even if you don't have a script, generating it is easy, all you have to do is fill out the "Describe your video" field and the app will take care of the rest. You can even generate a script using a mere URL. Can't get easier than this.

Once the script is generated, you can then generate a video. The platform uses stock footages and the script to generate the video with a professional voiceover as well.

And the best part is that it's voiceover quality is second to none. Which is why it's all the more worth it.

But get this, once the video is fully generated, you can always replace the stock videos or parts that you don't like. The editor is fairly easy to use.

Pricing: You can get started for FREE, that's the best part, if you wish to take this tool for a test ride, they generously offer you 5000 characters to test. And for just $29, you can easily make a couple of videos each month for your Youtube channel or ads.

What I Dislike

After you make changes, the process of video generation starts all over again, so that's a bit annoying to be honest, I would have preferred that the platform would update the changes without redoing the whole thing.

But then, I think it's to accommodate for any changes that may have to be made to the voiceover and maybe to prevent sync issues that the re-processing is done, but nonetheless, it's still a pain.

Secondly, I wish they'd have more selections in the stock footages that are used in the videos, there have been instances where I've noticed repeated usage of stock footages and footages that didn't have anything to do with what the videos were about. But it's impact on the overall quality isn't too big, the platform still does a good job of getting appropriate videos based on the script that you provide.

Final Verdict

I've tried Pictory and a lot of other tools that are popular amongst marketers like me, but I am yet to find a tool such as Videogen.io that offers simplicity, quality and flexibility so far as AI based video generation is concerned.

So the bottom line, is this tool worth it? It's 100% a YES from me.
