TrafficZest uses a bidding system so after setting your traffic options, you set your advertising budget.

I decided to try it out by ordering 100 clicks. I did this by setting my bid price and then multiplying that by 100 to get my total budget for the campaign.

Then I picked 4 of the Traffic Providers and set the campaign to send my offer traffic over the course of a day and I set the campaign to run for 5 days.

So, on average, I'd get about 20 clicks/day from the 4 traffic providers I selected.

There's no training materials anywhere on the site - I'd like to see some explanation on how to use the tracking tags that can be added to your URLs.

The Min bids can be deceptively low. After testing, It seems that, regardless of your campaign, $0.20 is the absolute minimum bid TrafficZest will accept.

I signed up to Traffic Zest a while ago and was a little confused. I had expected to need to find a seller, then select how many clicks I wanted to buy, send them the link then wait until they are ready to send traffic. But what I had found confusing, I have grown to love. Traffic Zest makes it easy to set up a click campaign in a good ads kind of way. You simple enter your link, select how much you are willing to pay per click, and you can set a campaign limit also. But then boom... Almost instant traffic. You absolutely can dig into details like which sellers you specifically want to buy from and black listing - all that good stuff - that I know absolutely nothing about! But that's the key thing here - it feels like Traffic Zest was built for people like me - beginners in the world of paid traffic. Sure under the hood there are different sellers, different sources, different tags... But to run a good campaign it's enough to just set a price you are willing to pay per click, activate your campaign and enjoy traffic. I ran a campaign this week. I spent $100 and I got 191 clicks at an average price of $0.51 (I had set my maximum price per click at $0.55) - I got no straight sales, but I got 68 new leads on my mailing list. I was happy with this. It was a 35% opt in rate which I think was fairly healthy. I actually could have done better I think as I changed my destination to a different capture page half way through and that one performed way better. Although I didn't do this in a clean enough way to offer solid analysis.

If you are going to use Traffic Zest (or any paid traffic) please don't send this traffic to a sales page or you must use a capture page and then have a short follow up email series ready. It's rare to get an instant sale from paid traffic, as the old saying goes... The fortune is in the follow up.

What I Like

I love that they have made paid traffic feel easy. You can order traffic now and have it delivering in the next 5 minutes. And I really love that you can pause campaigns - yes no more mid solo ad panic. If something isn't working or you're not happy with the results mid way through, you can pause or even cancel the campaign.

What I Dislike

They say they have clicks from $0.13 but in reality you are going to need to spend a minimum of $0.50 a click to get any kind of solid supply. Although this isn't a bad thing as let's face it - you get what you pay for. In fact on my next Traffic Zest campaign I'm going to go up to $1 a click just to see the difference.
