This review is about a service called Project Broadcast, and after using this service for several months I cannot find a reason not to like it.

What I like about it

While many SMS texting platforms have relatively low costs, Project Broadcast seems to have the small entrepreneur in mind. For $5 you're literally in business. And the cost per message is also very low at about 4 cents each depending upon how long the text is.

Project Broadcast was also keenly aware that most of their clients needed a good training program because of the potential for technical problems down the road. Their incentives for completing each training module were very generous, and their training was excellent. With each module you completed you earned $10 in credits which amounted to approximately 250 text messages.

The reliability was also something that has been amazing. Many other SMS texting platforms simply stop working, or something happens and the messages start getting sent to the wrong recipients or some other technical issue. With Project Broadcast, I have yet to have even one small issue and the texts are going out like clockwork at precisely the right time every time.

Not only is this technology amazing, and works very well, but I know that it is going to bring in more leads, keep my customers happy and keep me and my business associates very, very busy.

Did you know that texts are read almost immediately by 96% of recipients with the other 4% lagging only because they were driving or in a meeting?

Customers want to do business with someone they know like and trust. What better way than to send a message immediately after they've opted in on your website or post?

What I don't like about it

One of the downsides to using this product is that whenever something you
want to send goes into the red zone for spam, there's no mechanism in place to notify you if or when the messages don't get sent out. I'm grateful for the mechanism that prevents something that might be problematic with the phone carriers, but feel that some kind of notification that the messages were not going to be sent would be a great improvement.

In reality, that's a good thing because they're not only protecting their reputation, but they are, by default, protecting yours. They don't want to risk their reputation (or yours) on having someone sending spam, so they never send out messages that are at high risk for doing that. But, as stated before, there's no red warning sign that the messages will not be sent.

You do have to check each message before sending it, because if it scores in the red zone, your message will not go out and you will never know why. This is my only criticism of this tool so far.

I have used a few SMS messaging tools, and my top choice for reliability, value and performance would have to be Project Broadcast.

UPDATE 12/20/2023

As with any automation, sometimes things just don't work as planned. I'm not sure if this is due to user error or just a lack of understanding of how some of these things work in general. I do know that Project Broadcast has an extensive library of videos and an excellent training program that is first class all the way. Their support team is also second to none and they are very good about answering all of my non techie questions. But because of the recent trouble I've had in the sending out of messages that I believe should have gone out on an automation, I'm going to reduce my five star rating to a 4 star. I still enjoy this app and use it every week and will be using it in my business regularly and I do highly recommend them. I just want my reviews to be brutally honest whenever possible so that readers can have an accurate guide to make their decisions. Thanks! ~ Rob
