My experience with the program so far

I have been using Newspapers Alive (NA) for a couple of years now. NA place ads in various local newspapers across north America and Canada, the ad will say something generic like "Discover how to make money online" with a web address for them to visit, when they visit that link they are presented with a website for the rotator. I love the fact that this is set and forget traffic, and actually it's been fairly good quality traffic, I have received a fair few sign ups from the traffic hitting my capture page from Newspapers Alive. It helps that due to the nature of the NA most people clicking have already taken a fair bit of action such as typing in a web address so entering their details is worth it compared to someone that just clicks a link then clicks away again.

When you sign up you can choose where you want your traffic from in terms of zones, such as New York or Texas. You can see stats to see how you are performing in each zone and you can change them so after a while you can "perfect" your settings. This is helpful because I have found certain areas to be more receptive to certain offers. But all areas perform well so don't panic too much about this.

What I Like

I love that this traffic flows in daily, without me needing to do anything. So much of my other traffic requires me to do something like write an email or click on links, but this traffic just flow right in on autopilot! As previously stated the quality of this traffic is good and I have found that I get a good click to opt in ratio from this traffic source.

What I Dislike

You don't send your traffic to directly to your link, you have to create a landing page. This feels like it creates an extra step for the person interested in a home business, because they have to see your landing page and then click a button to go to your actual website. I find my actual link receives about half of the traffic of the landing page. I usually write a short headline and a button to my actual capture page and this works well. But just adding your link to a rotator would be better in my opinion.

Final Verdict

Newspapers Alive is $60 a month for the smallest package which delivers 200-250 clicks a day. I find this gets me about 1-2 opt ins a day on my list so it's about $1-$2 for a lead. However I have found that these leads are good quality and convert well. I have used this traffic source to get sales in affiliate offers such as Legendary Marketer and build my LiveGood network marketing business.
