I enjoy using Getresponse as my choice of Autoresponder, yes there are many services like it and it's often difficult to tell them apart because every AR service does the same essential job which is of course to automatically send out our email sequences on our behalf. So, I'm going to explain as best I can what I like about GR in particular and also that which gets my back up about the service - here goes.

What I Like

One of the main things I like about GR response is that it's very user friendly, what I mean by this is that you don't have to jump through hoops to learn about it's features and how to use them, as soon as you login to your dashboard everything that you need is in front of you instantly. For instance, quick action links like:

• Create form
• Create newletter
• Create landing page
• Add contacts
• Create autoresponder

These quick actions links are great in opinion because you've got your most used and important tools at hand straight away.
The landing page templates are pretty sweet as well as they are all professionally designed and ready to edit to your hearts desire but I found that I didn't need to mess around with the templates all that much as they cater to most niches but if they don't then you can alway build your landing page from scratch using drag and drop.

The pricing is transparent as when you look at the pricing page there's four pricing structures:

• Basic
• Plus
• Professional
• Enterprise

On each of the plans apart from the Entreprise package which is for bigger businesses and is custom priced, you can use the drop down menus to select how many subscribers you'll need to accommodate and the price goes up and down accordingly.

I myself am using just the basic plan that allows up to 1000 subscribers which works out at $15 a month which is all I need at the moment and you can do the same too. The pricing I think allows for most people's budgets.

There's other cool features that I like and you might find really useful as well like:

What I Dislike

I've only a couple of gripes with Getresponse:

• No phone support

Final Verdict

Like I say, there's a fair many AR services out there but Getresponse is unique in the way that it diversifies itself from the rest by branching out into functions such as webinar hosting, CRM, automated funnel systems etc.

It's also priced competitively and will suit most budgets, for example, $15 a month won't be a huge chunk of change if you just getting started with marketing and over time as you begin to make money you can scale up your email marketing.

Also don't forget that you get a 30 day free trial with full access to all its features, you can use that time to start building your list and using all GR has to offer at zero cost, I did just that and I'm glad that I did.

Email marketing is something I've wanted to implement into my website since the very beginning. I actually used Aweber for a month during the early days of running my website. The reason I didn't keep using was that after having 0 sign-ups at the time my next payment was due £19 seemed a little too high to pay. I realise now that it is maybe unfair for me to write off Aweber because of this. Really, I never gave them enough time, but in an ideal situation, even now, whilst I'm still in the early stages of building my email list I want the most affordable option. Not only this but something that fits with what I'm trying to do. So after a month or so of having no sign-up forms or email marketing set-up after leaving Aweber I began looking towards something else. My initial choice was MailChimp but after seeing the price was in the same range as Aweber I finally signed up for GetResponse. GetResponse I have been with now for 2 months. The price is £11/$15 a month for basic which includes up to 1k contacts email list. Ideal for me because at this stage 1000 is plenty, and the price is ideal.

What I Like

As mentioned above the price of basic membership I think is a steal. For beginners to email marketing, this is a platform I highly recommend. What I have found as well as the price it is very easy to use, the templates are great, and the customer support is top-notch. Very helpful. The other thing that is great about GetResponse is you can build and host Landing Pages on their server. This is made easy by again there ready-made templates. Actually I wish that I had found out about GetResponse before. I tried ClickFunnels for a week and could not make head nor tail of it but what I came to realise that the landing pages on GetResponse are just as good and $285 cheaper. Other than this there is still much about GetResponse that I haven't learned about yet. There are a few on-site free training videos I'm yet to check out but this is an absolute must I think. So far my list has got maybe 10 contacts so far but this I'm quite happy with at the moment. Something must be working. I am maybe writing this review a little early before I see the real benefits of this platform but it is very much worth joining for just these few things basic things at least I think.

What I Dislike

There is not really anything I don't like about GetResponse but one very minor thing when editing the templates it can sometimes be a bit difficult to use at times. I've found a way around most the issues to be fair and when I haven't the GetResponse support has been amazing. Also having to install another plugin on Wordpress is a tad bit inconvenient but it's all good. With Aweber I had to add a plugin also.

Final Verdict

This is a great platform for websites looking to begin building email lists. As far as I can tell there is no limit to how many lists you can have. This is ideal for me as I write a lot of reviews that are all worthy of their own lists. If you put the time into setting up several stage autoresponders this has the potential to increase your conversions by 2x, 5x and even more. The reason I signed up for a new email marketing platform was that somebody wrote on a blog I read that it had the power to increase your chances of commissions by as much as 90%. Any email marketing platform is worth joining for this reason but price-wise this is the best that I have found easy.

What I Like

• Best for affiliate marketing: Some of the email marketing software, their T. O (Terms of service) say that they don't accept affiliate marketing, such as MailChimp, Aweber, and others

• AutoFunnel: Now, it's more than just an email marketing tool, it's a funnel builder too. Meaning that you can sell, you can build a funnel and start accepting money with it.

• Webinar: You can create a webinar. If you want to scale your business the simplest and best way is by using webinars

What I Dislike

• Although you can use the Facebook pixel with Getresponse's landing page feature, you can't do so in a GDPR compliant way.
• There's a hard limit of 500 webinar attendees.
• If you run into issues and it is more than what the chat person can solve their support response is very slow. I think this is because they are based in a different country. There have been a couple of times that I needed more in-depth support than what was available with Chat and one issue took weeks to get a response.

Final Verdict

With its long list of powerful features like landing pages and even webinars, and now with their Autofunnel feature, GetResponse is certainly doing quite a few things right. While it would be great to see an uplift in deliverability rates, GetResponse scores extremely well in most other areas. As an email marketing tool, it's definitely versatile enough to perform almost everything you'd need. I certainly find this to be true in the case for EmailToolTester's own email campaigns, and it's a tool I would have few reservations about recommending to others.

Here's what I like best about this website:

1. Fast interface. In contrast, ActiveCampaign is very slow.
2. Support: 24/7 chat support + eMail support. Instant chat support, never have to wait. EMail support solves problems in Getresponse software in a short time. In contrast, there is no chat support in ActiveCampaign, only rarely and no help from ActiveCampaign. In fact, ActiveCampaign does not even reply to emails.
3. Price: the best value for money software is Getresponse 2021. It is much better than ActiveCampaign. It does much more than Sendinblue or Mailchimp. I have worked with both of them, so I have experience. Sendinblue does not respond to emails, Mailchimp also does not respond to emails and Mailchimp is very expensive.
4. The ActiveCampaign landing page builder does not have a webshop, Getresponse does. Yes, it's only a small webshop, but here it is and works fine through Stripe perfectly.
5. Sales funnel, webinar. Multiple languages all in Getresponse. The eMail footer too, so if you're an entrepreneur outside the US, this is a small thing for you, but it might be important for you.
6. Chat: a very good solution in Getresponse.
7. Forms: the ActiveCampaign forms are ugly. Getresponse's forms are beautiful and everything Getresponse's forms do.

I can't really fault this website apart from the odd bug, but that doesn't stop me from using it. Go check it out for yourself and try a free 30 day trial to start with.

Some of the biggest household names in the corporate world use this platform to manage their customer relations and marketing.

GetResponse is very easy to use. Their drag-and-drop page editor is very intuitive and allows you to create squeeze pages in minutes. You can choose from tons of professional templates or create your own pages from scratch. What I particularly like is that, although an optimised mobile version of your page will be created for you automatically, you have the ability to hide certain elements which you want on the PC version but might clutter your mobile screen.

They have also incorporated a website builder more recently, which is also drag-and-drop easy. This allows you to create a free website which is hosted for you (again, for free) and is comparable to something like Weebly or Wix.

The list-builder, autoresponder and email management service is also free but if you get more than 1,000 subscribers or if you want to add a funnel and follow-up email series you will need to upgrade. This is standard practice for any 'free' email platform.

Hello and welcome to my review on GetResponse. Before I start this review I would like to say that this in the future will not be my main autoresponder if you go to my other reviews and check out my review on my other favourite autoresponder you can check it out. The other autoresponder I like is called SendShark and will be my main autoresponder in the future.

GetResponse has been an amazing autoresponder. I have had an amazing run with it. I would have to say that GetResponse and Aweber are the top autoresponders (Up until I found out about SendShark) in the Affiliate world.

The autoresponder is easy to use and easy to set up your account once you are on the inside. The system has normal features that every autoresponder has.

Forms to create HTML codes for your capture pages on other sites like LeadsLeap, It has your broadcasts, the autoresponder campaigns, it has a capture page and landing page builder, easy setup of different lists and an easy-to-see and use contacts list.

One additional feature I like about GetResponse in the contact list area is the ability to see how engaged your clients are.

Getresponse has a 5-bar system to show how engaged each client is bar 1 is not engaged at all.

Now I like this system better than other autoresponders because it is easier to see how engaged these people are. This makes it easier to Clean Your List! As I have stated in previous reviews Cleaning Your List Is like taking your dirty laundry to the laundromat or your own washing machine. Simply if you don't work on your list and don't "wash your Laundry" Your list will get dirty and it will affect your open rates and so on. It is extremely, EXTREMELY, important that you clean your list now and again.

After meeting so many of the higher marketers in our industry and speaking with them, like John Thornhill, Igor Kheifets, James Neville-Taylor, Dean Holland and many others they always say CLEAN YOUR LIST.

GetResponse does make this easy with their bar system which shows how engaged the client is. The unfortunate part is this is not like looking forward to clean laundry though... Sometimes it is sad to see clients go and sometimes I have to remind myself as sad as it is I have to do what is best for business and get rid of the unengaged people who are bogging down my open rates. I am seeing darn near 60% open rates because I clean my list regularly. I usually wait a month but no more than a month because a certain newsletter might bring them back which I have had happen. My mentor Igor Kheifets when he was teaching me said something in his training about "Resurrecting the list" and I have done that with certain campaigns not so much the list itself but more so with clients who went dormant.

Anyway, enough rambling on about that. This feature is truly amazing and easier than other autoresponders.

I also like their easy-to-use save-a-template feature.

Ever get sick of making an email and having to add your business logo maybe even your picture and a few other things every single time to every new email you write? I do too. They have a very easy-to-use save-a-template feature where you can keep a template you've made for the future. For instance, my current template is...

and then my whole body is preformatted to the regular 18 pt font and Georgia text which is a normal setup for emails in email marketing.

I know its a very short description of my template but really the only thing changing in that each time is the body of my email the rest of the template never really changes.

All in all GetResponse has been a really amazing autoresponder but of course, is no longer my top recommendation (As I said above see my review on Sendshark) GetResponse also has automation and stuff which the SendShark autoresponder lacks.

I don't really ever use automation very much anyway so really for what I use GetResponse for, Sendshark gives me the same.

What I Like

• I like the easy-to-use autoresponder. It is very simple and one of the top autoresponders and can honestly say it is probably even better than Aweber in some aspects
• I like the save-a-template feature as it is very simple to save a template with the normal setup you always use for emails
• I like the engaged bar feature as I mentioned above it is really easy to see who is and is not engaged on your list with this feature.
• I like how easy it is to set up emails with a few clicks of a button you can have an email setup in seconds
• I like that GetResponse seems like one of the more professional autoresponders. I am all about being professional so when I see a tool that reflects that I really like it as I was brought up being taught about business and professionalism.

What I Dislike

Usually, I don't have complaints about systems that I thoroughly enjoy but this one on the other hand I do have a couple of dislikes.

• Price- The price can be steep as I am paying 30 dollars a month right now for 2500 subscribers and that is not horribly bad but when you go past 2500 the price can go up from there. In my review on SendShark, I talk about the price for that autoresponder for 50,000 subscribers it is 25.00 a month or 300 for a year and when you get up to 50,000 subscribers with this one it is 245 dollars a month or 2940 dollars a year... Yea, that's going to be steep especially when I plan to take this Affiliate Marketing straight to the top and hope to have a huge list someday...
• TOO PICKY... Sometimes when trying to import your subscribers from other lists on other autoresponders you own when those subscribers have opted into your list they don't like you importing them and will reject the import... Do it enough times and GetResponse will just bring down what I like to call "The Ban Hammer" I have never been banned by them but this makes it hard to switch over to them with a list from another autoresponder because they are too picky. I once tried to bring over a list from a different autoresponder because I was trying to get rid of it and they rejected it. They were prequalified leads but they wouldn't allow it...
• Last dislike... They will take away campaigns and stuff if you knock back your subscription... Yup if you ever downgrade I got told that it will erase my work if I downgrade... That is sort of a kick in the pants considering that you did all that work into building those campaigns and they don't let you keep them there if you downgrade...

Final Verdict

My final verdict is I still think eventhough I had 3 dislikes about GetResponse that it is still worth it to the right person. If you don't care about the above dislikes and care to have a very professional autoresponder then GetResponse is for you. They are really amazing and really simple to use.

I said above that they are probably better than Aweber. I have had many issues with Aweber that I haven't had with GetResponse.

They are a great Autoresponder and I do stand behind them despite the dislikes. It was the very first autoresponder I started with and I have been really amazed.
