I've just come across Treasure Island, and I'm rating it well for a number of key reasons, but will explain below why I'm initially discounting it 1 star. I will update this later if / when I learn more.

• It's free to join and there are no monthly fees, back office fees, etc.
• It's a 2-level affiliate program rather than MLM, avoiding the MLM stigma.
• You're simply inviting people to enjoy a reality TV show involving social influencers. They introduce products through the show and effectively sell for you. No need to sell, no need to learn the products.
• They're planning multiple seasons per year, which new influencers each season, rolling out more and more products to millions of people in the influencers' networks.
• You have the opportunity to earn royalties from all company sales for life -- not just from your 2-level affiliate tiers. "Open networks" like this are the best way to vastly grow the real income from an opportunity.
• There is an optional cryptocurrency component to this. The coin will trade on exchanges and be used to buy products from the company, and its value has a good chance to grow because of exposure through the show and influencers.

What I Like

Most people aren't salespeople and don't want to sell products to friends and family. But people do enjoy sharing entertainment with one another. That's the heart of what this is. And just by sharing this show (and they have more shows planned), you have the opportunity to earn when people choose to buy products that are right for them.

I also like the opportunity of early entry into a cryptocurrency project that will get a lot of exposure and has a real use case beyond just trading with other people and hoping it has some value. It can be used to buy products in the company store.

What I Dislike

As of this writing, the landing pages (to share with others) don't wow you with a modern look. I feel like that takes credibility down a bit.

Also, I haven't yet come across information about who they are and why they are positioned well to pull off this program. Do they have a history of producing shows? Do they have the influencers lined up? Are they clear on how they're streaming it on major services vs. Just things like YouTube? (It appears they intend to. )

There are some lending opportunities to earn lifetime royalties, but knowing more about them will help more people decide about that.

The idea of this is fun, and the opportunity to earn royalties for life is massive. Even just earning from affiliate sales without having to "sell" products is what most people need to help them with some side income. There is no risk to joining, and I'm excited to see where this goes!

I am very impressed by the Treasure Island opportunity, because it is very unique. I have never seen an opportunity that allows regular people to make money off of a reality TV show. They have continued to increase the amount of income that the members can make. The company has webinars a couple of times a week and they keep us up to date on the progress of the show. And the products and services the company will promote during the show.

What I Like

I like being able to earn a residual income from a reality TV show, because it is long term and can increase over time. We earn from the many products that will be sold during the show. There will be 3 shows in 2024 and we earn on all of them. I also like how the company is funding the project through a crowd funding platform. To participate in the earnings you lend the company units which cost $500 each, but you are guaranteed a 150% return, but due to the product sales you are almost certain to make much more.

What I Dislike

The only thing that I don't like is we have to wait for June for the first show.

Final Verdict

The Treasure Island reality show is the ideal opportunity for people to earn a long term residual income from a TV show. It will be broadcasted over the internet, so it doesn't have to worry about being canceled by a TV network and that is why the residual income is long term.
