9hits is an autosurf traffic exchange, and it may be the first autosurf I have seen. To explain, autosurfs usually let you exchange page hits with other users, but those are simple hits. There is no interaction with the page, no clicking, no mouse events, nothing like what happens when a person really surfs. It would have been better to call them autohit exchanges.

9hits goes beyond hits into surfing by allowing you to use macros written in Ecmascript to program your visits. You can have your 9hits traffic click on links or buttons, trigger mouse events, upvote or downvote and so according to how you wish. Each visitor can do the same things, or you can have it be random, or depend on day or week or time of day.

The macros are only available to upgraded accounts, with a current cost of USD 6 per month.

However, free accounts do have access to many features that require payment in most other autosurfs. For example, for free you get randomized visit duration and ability to customize the user agent and referrer.

Also, free accounts can get very high traffic delivery rates. 9hits gives point bonuses after surfing certain numbers of pages. When I reached the bonus for surfing 100000 pages, I allocated those credits worth thousands of hits to my sites without placing a hits per hour limit. 9hits proceeded to dump those hits so fast the cheap host I was trying at the time banned me!

9hits also has a very active built in chat, where you can get help and learn tips and tricks from the other members.

Using 9hits requires installing their special viewer program, available for Linux as well as other platforms by Microsoft and Apple.

The only point that consistently bothers me about 9hits is quite minor - it is that one must perform an annoying CAPTCHA every time logging in the admin web site.

For myself, 9hits will be a constant part of my autosurf portfolio going forward.
