{"id":1454,"date":"2022-10-18T14:57:17","date_gmt":"2022-10-18T06:57:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leadsleap.com\/blog\/?p=1454"},"modified":"2022-10-18T16:03:30","modified_gmt":"2022-10-18T08:03:30","slug":"how-to-send-broadcast-to-people-who-did-not-read-another-broadcast","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadsleap.com\/blog\/how-to-send-broadcast-to-people-who-did-not-read-another-broadcast\/","title":{"rendered":"How to send broadcast to people who did not read another broadcast?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We have just boosted the tagging function in SendSteed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Below are the new features:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1) You can now <strong><em>easily<\/em><\/strong> add a tag to people who have received, opened or clicked a particular broadcast you&#8217;ve sent. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>See the quick demo below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-container-2 wp-block-gallery-1 wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img src=\"https:\/\/leadsleap.com\/members\/tutorial\/list.tag.2.gif\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>2) You can now send a broadcast to active subscribers WITHOUT certain tags.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img src=\"https:\/\/leadsleap.com\/members\/tutorial\/list.tag.1.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>3) You can now bulk delete tags.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img src=\"https:\/\/leadsleap.com\/members\/tutorial\/list.tag.3.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2>How are these 3 new features are useful?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Let me give you an illustration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let&#8217;s say you want to send a broadcast to people who did not open a previous broadcast you&#8217;ve sent. <em>(Why you want to do that? Because you do not want to resend the same email to those who have read it.)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are the steps to do it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1) Add a tag to the contacts you do not want to send to.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/leadsleap.com\/members\/list.broadcast.php\" target=\"_blank\">broadcast manager<\/a>, you have access to the list of people who have opened a particular broadcast (see arrow 1 below). Click on that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img src=\"https:\/\/leadsleap.com\/members\/tutorial\/list.tag.4.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Click &#8216;<strong>Add Tag to these emails<\/strong>&#8216; (see arrow 2 below).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img src=\"https:\/\/leadsleap.com\/members\/tutorial\/list.tag.5.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Enter a tag name (see arrow 3 below). <em>In most cases, just use the suggestion depicted by arrow 4<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img src=\"https:\/\/leadsleap.com\/members\/tutorial\/list.tag.6.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Click &#8216;<strong>Add Now<\/strong>&#8216;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A tag will then be added to all the emails that have opened the broadcast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2) Set up a new broadcast to exclude these contacts.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After you&#8217;ve tagged the contacts, proceed to add a new broadcast and set up the broadcast as usual (I&#8217;ll not go into the details here). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under &#8216;<strong>Audience<\/strong>&#8216;, set up the option in &#8216;<strong>Active, without Tags<\/strong>&#8216; (see the demo below).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img src=\"https:\/\/leadsleap.com\/members\/tutorial\/list.tag.3.gif\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Save the broadcast as usual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new broadcast will now send emails to people <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">without<\/span><\/strong> the tag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Bulk Delete Tags.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you use the tagging function often, you will end up with a lot of tags in your contacts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To delete useless tags, just go to the list and click the tag icon shown in arrow 1 below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img src=\"https:\/\/leadsleap.com\/members\/tutorial\/list.tag.3.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The system will automatically populate all existing tags in the list (see arrow 2). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Remove the tags you <strong>WANT TO KEEP<\/strong>. Then bulk delete (arrow 3) the remaining tags in the input area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That&#8217;s it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The above illustration is just one example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can add more tags and include other filtering options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the improved tagging function, you can now send broadcasts to more targeted audience.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We have just boosted the tagging function in SendSteed.
