{"id":1295,"date":"2022-05-24T14:51:39","date_gmt":"2022-05-24T06:51:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leadsleap.com\/blog\/?p=1295"},"modified":"2022-05-24T14:51:40","modified_gmt":"2022-05-24T06:51:40","slug":"new-sendsteed-link-to-tag","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadsleap.com\/blog\/new-sendsteed-link-to-tag\/","title":{"rendered":"[New] SendSteed Link To Tag"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Last month, we introduced <a href=\"https:\/\/leadsleap.com\/blog\/sendsteed-tags-how-it-works\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"SendSteed Tag (opens in a new tab)\">SendSteed Tag<\/a>, a function that allows you to add tags to your SendSteed List contacts and send Broadcast based on Tags.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not long after, we received an add-on request from our member, Andre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is what  Andre wrote:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p><em>After sending out broadcasts out to subscribers and looking at the stats, it would be great if there&#8217;s a way to tag all the subscribers who have clicked the link inside a broadcast email.<\/em><\/p><p><em>This will really help in identifying those who have expressed interest  in an offer, so that it will be easy to follow up with them on a  separate broadcast with that specific &#8216;interested in offer&#8217; tag applied  instead of scrolling and searching through the subscriber lists to apply  that tag one by one. <\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>I like this idea. So we started working on it immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We call it <strong>&#8216;Link To Tag&#8217;<\/strong> function.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>How It Works?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When setting up an Email Episode or Broadcast, you can now attach a Tag to up to the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">first three<\/span> links in your email, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">including<\/span> links in the Email Signature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If a subscriber clicks on one of these links, the specified Tag will be added to that subscriber.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, say you promote LeadsLeap in a Broadcast. You can add a &#8216;interested in leadsleap&#8217; tag to those who click the link, so that next time, you can send broadcasts to subscribers who are &#8216;interested in leadsleap&#8217;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Step By Step Setup Guide<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The set up is very simple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you edit an Email Episode or Broadcast, you will see a &#8216;Link To Tag&#8217; option (see screenshot below).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img src=\"https:\/\/leadsleap.com\/members\/tutorial\/list.linktag1.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>1) Click the &#8216;Show link URLs&#8217; button to identify the first 3 links in your email.
