{"id":1166,"date":"2021-09-23T16:55:48","date_gmt":"2021-09-23T08:55:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leadsleap.com\/blog\/?p=1166"},"modified":"2021-09-23T17:02:15","modified_gmt":"2021-09-23T09:02:15","slug":"now-you-can-exclude-rotated-link-from-certain-traffic-source","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadsleap.com\/blog\/now-you-can-exclude-rotated-link-from-certain-traffic-source\/","title":{"rendered":"Now You Can Exclude Rotated Link From Certain Traffic Source"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>This is a feature request from our fellow member, Venkatesh. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Venkatesh promotes a rotator in different traffic exchanges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The problem is, the rotator contains links that promote those traffic exchanges as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In other words, he may end up promoting a particular traffic exchange to the members of the SAME traffic exchange, which is a waste of his effort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So he approached us and asked if we can add a filter to our rotator such that he can exclude a link from the traffic from certain websites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I thought this is a good idea, because some of you may face the same issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So it is done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>How To Do It?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/leadsleap.com\/members\/trackr.rotators.php\" target=\"_blank\">Link Rotator<\/a> set up page, click the link button (arrow 1). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will see a new option called &#8216;<strong>Exclude Traffic From<\/strong>&#8216; (arrow 2). Enter the domain name of the traffic source that you want the rotated link to exclude.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"992\" height=\"554\" src=\"https:\/\/leadsleap.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/TinyTake23-09-2021-03-56-58.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1167\" srcset=\"https:\/\/leadsleap.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/TinyTake23-09-2021-03-56-58.png 992w, https:\/\/leadsleap.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/TinyTake23-09-2021-03-56-58-300x168.png 300w, https:\/\/leadsleap.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/TinyTake23-09-2021-03-56-58-768x429.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 992px) 100vw, 992px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, if you do not want the rotated link to be shown in abc.com, enter abc.com. For multiple sites, separate them by comma, for example, abc.com,xyz.com.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Limitation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There is an important limitation of this function you need to know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the traffic source runs on https (i.e. the url starts with https), your rotator link must also start with https. Otherwise the rotator is unable to detect the traffic source. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The reverse, however, is okay. That means if the traffic source runs on http, your rotator link can be http or https.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this new feature, you can now consolidate your affiliate links into one rotator and cross promote the links in different traffic sites, except those you have excluded.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is a feature request from our fellow member, Venkatesh.
